Cylinder Information

How often do I need to test my Cylinders??

For scuba cylinders there are two types of testing. Only one for air rifle Cylinder.

Visual test for a Cylinder

This is done every 2 ½ years from date of manufacture or the last test.

If this is missed then a hydrostatic test must be done.

Hydrostatic test for a Cylinder

This is done every 5 years from the date of manufacture or the last test.

For Air Rifle Cylinders??

These need a hydrostatic test every 5 years from the date of manufacture or last test.

These tests are laid down by IDEST and conform to British and European Standards.

We maintain these standards as we are a registered and approved test facility.
